UWA Disrupting Law Hackathon 2019

Hackathons put lawyers, law students and computer programmers together to "hack" traditional legal problems with technology and design thinking.

Sam Dulyba and Lucy Burns from Team Pragma took home the UWA Disrupting Law Hackathon 2019 trophy for this year after developing technology named Latch, aimed at matching prospective clients with their most suitable lawyer by taking into account the lawyers personality types and communication styles.

Sam and Lucy now proceed to the next round competing with the winners from the other States before the national Disrupting Law Champion is decided.

Proceeds from this event go toward The Piddington Society Justice Project, supporting Community Legal Centres in WA.
