Aaron McDonald recognised in Business News' Power 500 list

Our founder and director, Aaron McDonald, has been recognised in the Business News Power 500 list this year alongside many other inspiring Western Australians.

This remarkable publication draws on years of data and intelligence to catalogue WA's most influential business leaders across the state's major industries.

This is such well-deserved recognition for Aaron who started Pragma Lawyers in 2014. Since then, our firm has been named by Australasian Lawyer Magazine as one of the fastest growing in Australia. Pragma has built a reputation for delivering results in dispute resolution with a focus on fixed fees and early mediation.

Aaron sits on the Courts Committee of the Law Society of WA, lectures in law at tertiary level, is a committee member of The Piddington Society, and is the founder and chair of Subiaco Community Legal Service.

Aaron has also been the president of Old Scotch Collegians since 2021.Recent high-profile cases include assisting in the sale of Cockatoo Island mining tenements, a deal that many believed "couldn't be done".
