Benjamin Pike

Senior Associate

Biography

Ben was admitted to practise in the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2016 following graduating from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce (Majoring in Corporate Finance) in 2015.

For the first 4 years of his career, Ben worked as a solicitor in a boutique law firm, specialising in providing small to medium sized businesses with both practical and commercial legal solutions across commercial and property matters, with a particular emphasis on employment law.

In 2020, Ben took an in-house Legal Counsel role within a large public University, practising exclusively in the areas of employment and industrial law. During this time, Ben advised on a variety of matters, including litigation, legislation compliance, organisational change, contract and policy preparation and workplace investigations. Ben’s passion is advising clients on back of house issues to implement practical and sensible solutions, to successfully navigate or mitigate matters becoming larger scale problems.

Ben is experienced in representing clients in the Fair Work Commission, WA Industrial Relations Commission, the Equal Opportunity Commission and the Federal Court of Australia as well as the Magistrates and District Court of WA.
