Tom specialises in dispute resolution and litigation with particular expertise in commercial disputes, judicial review, appeals and regulatory prosecutions.

Tom spent the first 5½ years of his career at the State Solicitor’s Office, conducting a wide variety of litigation in various jurisdictions, including appearing as counsel in both mediations and substantive hearings in all Courts, Tribunals and other administrative bodies. Tom then moved to a major national law firm in their litigation team where he advised private sector clients including large proprietary companies, ASX-listed corporations and native title body corporates.

Prior to practising law, Tom was drafted to the St Kilda Football Club in the 2010 National Draft. He also played football semi-professionally for the Claremont Football Club between 2014 and 2021.
