Pragma Lawyers advises in sale of Kirkwood Deli

Kirkwood Deli has been a Swanbourne institution for decades and sold gourmet food, fresh produce, bread, flowers, barista-made coffee and chef prepared take-home meals. The company that operated the Deli was placed into liquidation on 8 December 2022 and caused disruption to the local community.

‍HLB Mann Judd insolvency practitioners Kim Wallman and Greg Quin working together with Pragma Lawyers managed to effect a sale by 20 January 2023 with the assistance of Nick Malone, Lauren Evans and Aaron McDonald from our office. The purchasers are established hospitality providers Anthony Iemma of Coogee Continental Deli and Michael Turner of Just Ripe fruit & vegetable wholesalers.
